I live in Otley, North West of Leeds. My interest in psychotherapy goes back many years but the process of formal training and preparation actually began in 1997. I have over ten years experience in private practice and over thirty five years experience in the NHS in a variety of senior clinical and leadership positions in mental health and community services.

Professional Registration

I am a registered member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (psychotherapy.org.uk). The UKCP is one of the main regulatory bodies for psychotherapists, and membership is restricted to therapists who have undertaken a rigorous and accredited training programme, and who can provide evidence of on-going development and regular clinical supervision.

I am a former trustee and treasurer of the Harry Guntrip Psychotherapy Trust, a registered charity that promotes psychoanalytic therapies and provides bursaries for people in training.
